Old AuSable Fly Shop | AuSable River | Grayling, MI | Boardwalk Replacement

project Details

We were honored to be chosen to work on a project as important as the Old AuSable Fly Shop.

Considered the heart of fly fishing in Northern Michigan, the Fly Shop is a historical landmark that has been operating since 1936 located on the Au Sable River. Thein Michigan, runs approximately 138 miles through the northern Lower Peninsula, through the towns of Grayling and Mio, and enters Lake Huron at the town of Oscoda.

Their old boardwalk was torn out and replaced by our newly constructed 6 foot wide boardwalk. The old seawall was also replaced by a new 3 foot wall.

The boardwalk is commonly used for fishing and viewing the AuSable from a safe location.
